The Drizit 850 rope mop skimmer uses the same principle as the 300 skimmer to recover oils but has a maximum recovery rate of 'l000l/hr and is fitted on top of an integrated oil/water separating tank.

The 850 is more powerful than the 300 so can skim larger areas using floating guide pulleys to effectively cover the required areas.

Boreholes up to 25m deep can also be cleared.

FLOATING GUID PULLEY

These pulleys allow you to guide the oilskim rope over surface of the water so efficient skimming can be achieved. The floating guide pulley floats independently and need only be tied to a wall or other fastening point. lf the level in the separator fluctuates then a sliding anchor pillar must be used.

OILSKIM ROPE

Blue - used for the skimmer of heavy oils - this coarse rope gives better skimmer and grip in the drive unit and has a flat profile. White - used for the skimmer of light and medium oils - this softer rope gives optimum performance and recovery and is bulkier than the blue rope. A 150mm rope is used in the 300 and 850 skimmer and a 300mm rope in the 10 000 skimmer. Rope are fibrillated polypropylene for maximum surface area ensuring the most efficient oil skimmer. Rope are sold in multiples of 5m.
