Drizit Environmental is the market leader in Oil and Chemical pollution control products in South Africa. Founded in 1975, the company manufactures a wide range of Oil and Chemical Absorbents under license to overseas principles, thus continuing to have access to the latest pollution control technology, but also being able to adapt many products to local conditions.
Drizit Environmental also designs and manufactures pollution control equipment at our factory in Durban. Although we are based in South Africa our reach extends into Africa as well as worldwide.

Oil Recovery Equipment: |
Industry requires these to remove oil from cooling water, effluent and storm water systems as well as oil recovery following road & harbour accidents. Drizit manufactures a wide range of rope, tube, disc and drum skimmers with capacities from 300lt to 30 tons per hour. |
Spill Kits: |
Drizit has put together a wide range of spill kits from carrybag spill kits for vehicles to industrial kits for factories. |
Oil Containment Booms: |
These vary from light weight, disposable PVC booms for emergency response by water companies & authorities to extremely tough, long lasting PU booms for harbours, estuary and sea use. The company also produces fence booms which are best suited to permanent deployment in industrial lagoons, across water intakes in rivers and dams to prevent trash and oil pollution. |
Storage and Handling: |
Some specialist products are stocked as an Industrial service because Drizit has used these products and found them useful such as fastank, spill platforms, overdrums etc. |

Range from 300lt/hr – 2000lt/hr and are designed for efficient oil removal in low flows. |
Drizit TCPS oil/water separators |
Can handle larger flow rates from 5m3/HR to 140m3/HR or larger. |
